Arlon ups the Wow! factor with new reflective graphics

Modagrafics and Arlon Graphics recently introduced a new and on-going reflective graphics program that produces impressive, eye-catching results. Chances are good that you haven’t seen anything this outstanding in the industry.

The first project, completed earlier this month, involved a fleet of tanker trucks for J.P. McMahon Transport in Lemont, IL. The colors of the graphics are more vibrant and reflect brighter than the previous reflective graphics on their fleet. This is due to Arlon’s 2400 Series reflective film. An encapsulated cast film, which is conformable and more repositionable than competitive films, it allows installers to apply the graphics over the curves and welds of the skin of the tanker.

“The 2400 Series Reflective film allows applicators to reposition it without bruising, which results in clear and consistent colors,” explains Ritchie Daize, Business Development Manager for Arlon Graphics. “The black reflective stripe on these trailers reflects bright white in the dark, which provides 24-hour brand exposure!”

Daize pointed out how Arlon collaborated with the Modagrafics installation team to develop a Tanker Graphics Application Guide to help installers overcome the specific challenges they face when applying graphics to tankers. This guide includes application techniques designed to protect the graphics from the possible overspill of fluid inside the tankers, as well as edge curl that often occurs at the top of a tanker graphic. “Owners of tanker fleets working with Modagrafics,” sums up Daize, “can be assured their graphics installations are held to the highest standard.”
